Stabilizing prices: a necessary decision to advance our industry

There is something we often avoid in the lash industry, but which influences absolutely everything: price.

Not just the number itself, but the way it is thought out, positioned, and owned. Too often, rates are built from a reflex of survival. We look at what others are doing, we adjust downwards, we hesitate, we test… without ever really anchoring ourselves. And quietly, without realizing it, we create an industry where value becomes blurred.

At Plushee, we have chosen to no longer operate this way.

Stabilizing prices is not a marketing strategy. It is a stand. Because a service that is not structured in its value always ends up losing credibility, both in the eyes of the client and the technician herself.

A technician who does not know what her work is worth will constantly doubt. She will adjust, negotiate, compensate. And in the long run, she burns out. Conversely, a client who does not understand what she is paying for ends up comparing only prices, without being able to truly distinguish the quality, the technique, or the rigor behind the service.

That is exactly what we want to change.

What we do at Plushee is not imposing prices. It is bringing back a logic, a coherence, a basis upon which technicians can rely to build something stable, profitable, and above all, respected.

Because the reality is that this profession has evolved.

Today, a full set is no longer just "doing lashes." It is a technical, precise job that requires a real understanding of morphology, weight, the structure of the natural lash, retention, ocular preparation, and the impact of the products used. Each decision made during an appointment directly influences the result, but also the lash health and the long-term satisfaction of the client.

This level of execution deserves to be recognized for what it is.

That’s why we no longer base rates on terms like “classic,” “volume,” or “mega volume.” These words no longer reflect the reality of the work. What matters is the time invested, the precision, the level of expertise, the consistency in the result, and the ability to offer a stable, safe, and thoughtful service.

By structuring prices around these elements, we completely change the dynamic. The technician understands what she is charging. The client understands what she is receiving. And the industry starts to align with real standards, rather than superficial comparisons.

There is also something deeper behind this approach.

Stabilizing prices also means stopping the normalization of competent women undervaluing themselves. It is recognizing that this profession is a true expertise, that it requires time, investment, continuous training, and that it deserves to be viable in the long term.

At Plushee, we believe in an industry where technicians can make a living from their trade, without compromising on quality, without constant pressure to lower their prices, and without having to justify being paid their fair value.

The rate card we propose is part of this vision. It is not an obligation. It is not there to limit. It is there to guide, structure, and support.

Because in the end, elevating an industry is not a question of trends.

It is a question of standards.
