Daily lash hygiene, reimagined for extensions.

For a long time, lash extension maintenance has been limited to a little foaming cleanser used quickly at the sink, sometimes only once a week. Yet, extensions are worn every single day. Their hygiene should therefore be part of the client’s daily routine, rather than an occasional intervention when retention drops or discomfort arises.

At Plushee, we didn’t just want to create another lash shampoo. We wanted to change how clients care for their eyes and their extensions at home.

Wearing extensions changes maintenance needs

Every extension adds density and extra surface area around the lash line. Sebum, dead skin cells, dust, cosmetic residues, and daily debris can then accumulate more easily between the lashes and around the attachment points.

This does not mean that extensions are bad for the eyes. It simply means that an additional element worn continuously requires adapted, regular, and truly effective hygiene.

The lash line is part of a living environment. Eyelids, natural secretions, glands, and the tear film work together to protect, lubricate, and clean the eye’s surface. When this environment is overloaded with residue or insufficiently cleaned, some people may experience increased discomfort, dryness, watering, or oily buildup.

Lash Bar™ was created to get back to basics: maintaining a clean lash line daily to better preserve the comfort, cleanliness, and appearance of extensions.

A routine designed to be actually followed

The problem doesn’t always stem solely from the product used. It also comes from the method taught.

A small bottle left in a drawer and used occasionally requires the client to create a new habit. Lash Bar™ integrates into a routine they already have: their daily shower.

Its solid format remains visible, accessible, and simple to use. Paired with a silicone brush and rinsing under constant warm water, it allows for gentle cleansing between the extensions and around the lash line, then completely rinsing away the foam and dislodged residue.

The client no longer has to guess when or how to wash their extensions. They receive a precise method that they can easily repeat at home.

Inspired by eyelid hygiene

To develop Lash Bar™, Plushee moved away from scented cleansers and products whose effectiveness relies on a stripping sensation. Instead, we drew inspiration from the principles of gentleness, rinsing, and compatibility used in cosmetic, dermatological, and ophthalmological care, as well as eyelid hygiene routines.

With its pH of 6.8 to 7.0, Lash Bar™ is formulated near neutrality to clean the eye contour without subjecting it to an unnecessarily acidic or alkaline formula. It contains no ethanol, no denatured alcohol, and no added fragrance.

Education is part of the result

A technician can perform an impeccable application, but they cannot perform daily maintenance on the extensions for the client. Their role is also to pass on the knowledge and tools necessary to care for the investment between appointments.

At the price of a set of extensions, hygiene should not be considered an extra. It should be an essential.

Lash Bar™ allows the technician and their client to work together: one creates the set, the other maintains its cleanliness, comfort, and appearance every day.

Daily use instructions

In the shower, moisten Lash Bar™ and the silicone brush with warm water, then create a light lather. Keeping eyes closed, gently clean the lash line for about 30 seconds. Rinse thoroughly under warm water, let the extensions dry, then brush them gently.

Lash Bar™ is designed to clean the eyelids, lashes, and their contour. It should not be applied directly inside the eye.
